The FREEZ BALL OFFICIAL floorball ball is designed according to the current rules and has obtained certification from the International Floorball Federation (IFF). Since 2022, this ball has been the official ball for the top competitions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The inspiration was the classic golf ball and its dimples, which have a significant effect on aerodynamics. Tests show that a ball shaped this way can have up to double the range compared to a smooth ball (sometimes a 37% longer range than a smooth ball is stated). The dimples also reduce surface friction of the ball.
Of course, there is also internal reinforcement – a special rib structure increases strength, especially in the area of the holes, and thus helps extend the ball’s service life.
