Basic procedure: first flatten the canvas (e.g., by weighing it down), peel off the protective film only in the sections you are currently working on, dip the applicator into the dry glue, and stick the diamonds according to the symbols on the canvas. After finishing, press the diamonds down with a book or another flat surface so they hold well.
