The locomotive runs on its own on a correctly assembled track, lets you choose 2 speeds, and during the ride it shines a front light. It can pull the attached freight wagon and supports cargo-transport play.
The crossing is equipped with flashing red lights and movable barriers that can be raised and lowered. The crossing module requires 2× AAA (1.5 V) batteries (not included).
