The growing shark egg offers children plenty of fun, anticipation, and discovery. Simply place the egg in water at approximately 35 °C and watch as the shell begins to open over the course of 12 to 24 hours. After approximately 48 hours, the shark will hatch completely and continue growing for several more days.
